I have a workbook that has a few different sheets. Here is some background:
There is a sheet for each "worker" on that sheet there is a table with some "clubs" that they oversee.
I have an "officer contact" sheet that is multiple columns with name, email, phone for each officer. That sheet is filled in using column A as the "club" and unique identifier for the "officer contact" sheet.
What I am trying to do, that is taking forever is have the table in the "worker" sheet automatically update based on what is entered in the "officer contact" sheet.
For example,
One worker has 4 "clubs", say baseball, football, soccer, and dance. In the table on the "worker" sheet I would like to see each of the officer names for the respective club. (all of that is entered on the "officer contact" sheet). Basically I want it to look where column A of the "officer contact" sheet equals the name of the club in the first column of the table on the "worker sheet" and look up values for that row. I only need a a few columns from each row to populate.
Right now I am just doing it manually and it is going to take forever. If the actual workbook will help I can email that to you.
Thanks,
Hi ChrisHowk
You would do best to post a sample workbook showing your Sheet Layout and perhaps Before and After examples.
It should clearly illustrate your problem and not contain any sensitive data.
Cheers
