Trying to create a formula that will compare dates (day/month/year) in 4 different cells and then add 30 days to whichever date (of the 4) is the most recent date, (if one of the 4 cells is blank, it would disregard that cell),
Example:
A1=1/2/2012
B1= 2/20/2012
C1= (blank)
D1= 2/6/2012
End result would be for the formula, (located at E1), to realize that cell B1 has the most recent date and add 30 days to that, to end up showing a date of 3/21/2012.
Would appreciate any help![]()

Try:
=IF(SUM(A1:D1)=0,"",MAX(A1:D1)+30)
