Hello,
I have been trying to solve this issue I have for some time now without any success, I hope that somebody can help me along here.
I get a huge spreadsheet each week that I want to compare with the previous weeks edition. I want to be able, for example, to compare what last weeks spreadsheet reported for Wk2 (week2) to this weeks edition for week2. I save it in its simplest form ie no colours or fancy formatting. Each week the spreadsheet is in exactly the same format so I have been using HLOOKUP which works great to return a single value, but my problem is I want to compare each daily values of that week.
Please see attachment
I HLOOKUP "Wk2" (Yellow) and can get the value of Saturdays figure (Green) easily, but how do I get the values of the RED cells from just the one single reference point Wk2 (being the yellow cell).
So to get Wednesdays figure Its like i want to HLOOKUP "Wk2", drop 6 rows down, return the value of the cell 4 cells to the right, but for the life of me I can not figure out how to achieve this.
Thanks for any advise you may have.
