Cross Referencing Data between Two worksheets

I am somewhat of an amateur Excel user and I need some help cross referencing data between two worksheets.

The first sheet is provided by one of my clients on a monthly basis as a summary of jobs they have paid on.

The other is a sheet I generate with Quickbooks of open invoices.

I need to pull the invoice number from the second sheet to link with the correct job on the first sheet. Right now I have all of the properties identified by addresses but I am begining to wonder if I should be using a JobID number instead.

Any help with this would be much appreciated. Manually reconciling these sheets every month is enough to make me want to cry!

    Thanks in advance!

It is hard to link 2 tables when there is no field have in common. I was able to reduce the # of the items you need to look up "manually", but I am not exactly sure if that's the result you're looking for.

Thank you JieJenn, that does help. I had a feeling not having a unique identifier would be problematic. That's why I was thinking that using the Job ID # would be a better reference for me to use. I will switch to that for the future.

Can you explain how you did what you did though? I would like to be able to do it for myself in the future!

    Thanks again!
