Re: First Bank of Missouri = H.W.

You are supposed to use VLOOKUP formulas...

    VLOOKUP(lookup_value,table_array,col_index_num,range_lookup)

    1. ... to find the interest rate ...:
    Lookup value: "loan term"
    table array: the loan table
col_index: the column number in the table where the interest rates are
    range_lookup: "false" (in most cases)

    2. ... the down payment uses VLOOKUP to find the required down payment rate, which you use to calculate via formula, the required down payment amount
    --------------------------
Please put VLOOKUP formulas in D6:D14 / E6:E14 and post the amended worksheet

Re: First Bank of Missouri = H.W.

    In D6,

    =VLOOKUP(C6,A$17:C$19,2,0)

Then copy D6, then paste down. Also format the cell as %.

    E6,

    =VLOOKUP(C6,A$17:C$19,3,0)*B6

Then copy E6, then paste down.

You really need to try! Lookup PMT in Help. I'm still waiting to see your work.... it's not hard.
Note: If you are in school/college, turning in some one else's work is called plagiarism and it can get you kicked out of school if you are found out!!
Please try the PMT function yourself...

Your post does not comply with Rule 1 of our Forum RULES. Your post title should accurately and concisely describe your problem, not your anticipated solution. Use terms appropriate to a Google search. Poor thread titles, like Please Help, Urgent, Need Help, Formula Problem, Code Problem, and Need Advice will be addressed according to the OP's experience in the forum: If you have less than 10 posts, expect (and respond to) a request to change your thread title. If you have 10 or more posts, expect your post to be locked, so you can start a new thread with an appropriate title.
To change a Title on your post, click EDIT then Go Advanced and change your title, if 2 days have passed ask a moderator to do it for you.

PLEASE PM WHEN YOU HAVE DONE THIS AND I WILL DELETE THIS POST
    Hope that helps.
