    Question Inserting a "Tick" in an excel cell

    I would like to place a "tick2 in an excel cell. Can anybody suggest how I might do this.

    use the wingdings font...
    Insert : Symbol... Font :
    scroll down list of fonts to select wingdings
    click on character 252, click on insert
