    Unhappy Excel Tables

I am copying excel table into word and doing a simple paste. When I paste the table, the empty space in the cell is filled with dots and the number wraps. Any suggestions.

Copy Excel spreadsheet and paste into Word

Try creating a table in Word first with the number of rows and columns. Then copy and paste. Your columns shouldn't go off the page.
    That's one way.

Or, there is an Excel icon on the toolbar. Click on that icon and it asks you to select a file from Excel. Select that file which would be the one you are working on. It goes imports quite well.
