I was just wondering, of late I haven't seen many (any) posts from the newsgroup. Is there something wrong with that link?
Curiousity...

I've been asking that question for some time now. You used to see the same threads through excelforum and the excel newsgroups but now it seems the only posts that appear on excellforum are those posted there [I'm posting in excelforum now].
Some of the posters who used to appear here regularly, e.g. Bob Philips, Biff, Roger Govier and others, are never seen here now. I presume they don't post direct to excelforum (I know Bob doesn't because I asked him) but that never used to matter.
Unfortunately, there are posters posting on excelforum for advice who will now get a much smaller audience and in reality they would be much better advised to post direct to the excel newsgroups.
I'm registered there too but my posts from there never appear here now and the ones from here don't appear there [does that make sense!?]. That didn't use to be the case.
I'm coming here less and less now.....
is anyone out there reading this thread anywhere but on excelforum.com?
There have been a few unaswered inquiries on this subject, the first time I was made aware of this, was when somebody had asked about why the search archives only go to September, I then performed a simple search for Vlookup, and the oldest post I could find at that time was September 11, I haven't tried a search since then but it is very evident that something has changed, and I am thinking it happened sometime around then.
If you were to also check the usergroups stats you will see that those stats have changed in Sept. as well
