Simon Lloyd has an addiction to Excel
Heavy Handed?

I have just been reading through this thread, while some people may find it offensive to see a red post and know that the OP hasn't bothered to read the forum rules (Rule 1 with regards to informative titles), but the truth is that it is an infraction, a warning, it's nothing more than that, its the red post colour that makes it seem all that much more worse, using this method allows the user to make changes and still have his post active and then consequently answered, prior to us using this system the op's post would be locked....no chance of it ever being answered.

I agree there is a flaw with the system which i'm working on and that is when an op has made the changes the red backround is removed....but its a little while coming.

It really isn't meant to be offensive in any way, before devising and generally agreeing on rules and how we deal with them the forum was unkempt, unruly and no where near as popular as it is now, since making these changes (April) we have picked up over 12,000 members.

We would ask that you are all patient with us while we work out the bugs and useages of our system, it's concept is sound, its useage is sound but there are some finer points that need a little work to make it just right.

The real point is, pay a little attention to how and what you post, your question will be answered quickly and everyone will be happy.
