Clean up of my old threads - marking as solved

    Hi,
I've been tring to clean up some of my old threads.

The 'Edit' option does not appear in the first post & I don't know of another way to mark these as solved.

Is it typical for the Edit button to be missing after a period of in-activity on the thread? Or is something else going on...

I've been navigating to these via User CP / Statistics / , in case it make a difference.

    Hi,

    excerpt from the forum rules

    10. Please acknowledge the response you receive, good or bad. If your problem is solved, please say so clearly, and mark your thread as Solved: Click the Edit button on your first post in the thread, Click Go Advanced, select [SOLVED] from the Prefix dropdown, then click Save Changes. If more than two days have elapsed, the Edit button will not appear -- ask a moderator to mark it.
Feel welcome to PM a moderator with a link to the threads you would like to mark as closed.

Avoid pie charts with more than two data points. Why? See here (pdf, 559 kb). The only acceptable pie chart is here.

    Thanks Teylyn,
Hadn't read the last sentence on rule 10.
Will PM a mod with links.

    Thanks again.
