They're good people, if they have stepped down or refrained from posting or moderating its because thats the only way they have of getting though to the owners of this board to try to make them:- Clear up oustanding bugs..etc listed throught this thread
- Change the organisation of the forums
- Get rid of non related forums
- Quit testing on live environments
- Communicate well and in a timely manner
- Listen to and treat with respect the people that drive and care about this board and its future

The promises of comminication seem to have gone by the wayside:
19/1/2010 http://www.excelforum.com/2236385-post100.html
20/1/2010 http://www.excelforum.com/2237066-post126.html

15/2/2010 http://www.excelforum.com/2253667-post283.html
(this next one, i must have missed the thread!)
15/2/2010 http://www.excelforum.com/2253668-post284.html
(communication with the mods?)
25/2/2010 http://www.excelforum.com/2261197-post344.html
Checking back to around page 5 or 6 i notice there really isn't a good ratio of owner/member posts.

Re: Feedback : New design for the Board
Apart from the forum moving like frozen molasses today:
Has anyone been playing with the CSS for the old skin? All the font sizes are off. Both in IE as in FF on different systems.
Anyone else seeing this?
The numbers in the thread and post count coulumn of the main forum view are huge, the text for the forum titles and posts is larger than it was. I can't find a zoom level where everything is readable.
Is this a ploy to put people off the old skin? It's more likely to put us off the forum alltogether!

Re: Feedback : New design for the Board
It's a bit sluggish but otherwise seems fine on IE6 which we're still using at work. Maybe you should downgrade.
As for Crusoe and Friday maybe we should send out a search party!!!
