Mac excel; wants to save without changes

Hi,

Excel works fine, has always worked fine and continues to do so on my Macbook, but since recently it always asks me to save my worksheet, even if I didn't make any changes. It isn't very annoying, but I noticed. I often open worksheets to quickly look at some data, and when I close that worksheet again, since a month or two there's always that popup asking me if I want to save the document (I didn't change it).

This has probably been the case since an update maybe.

Does anyone else have these problems or any idea how to fix this?

It's not urgent but it is slightly annoying.

Yes it does, I recently added one. Ok, I now see how that changes the worksheet everytime, prompting a save popup.
