My name is Goran and I have worked with Excel since version 1.0 the mac-version, yeah, I'm old 52 years and still learing Excel!
I have built a lot of applications with the old macros, VBA and now also with C#.
I use Excel most for reports, reconcilation and budget.

For now I'm building a set of reports that are integrated with our own financial system for our accounting service - 100% digital and web based. We receive digital document from mail or Dropbox and get the document into the accounting system. No printing at all. We deliver a complete set of documentation including Excel reports or PDF. Excel runs in the background on a server and creates reports for my customers.
