COUNTIF formula Please Help

Hi I am looking for help with a formula, I want to count the number of values over 10 but also do it by Month order, the date column is in as single dates so I uses the following formula =COUNTIF(I2:I1667,">="&DATE(2015,5,1))-COUNTIF(I2:I1667,">"&DATE(2015,5,31)) this gave me the total of pensions within each Month. I now want to do the same formula with the following included, I have on the same line for each pension that has been added the total number of days it took to get the pension out, I am looking for a month by month total of all the ones that have taken more than 10 days to process. Hope this makes sence!! hope somebody can help me.
