Can any one help me in the I want to Segregate Digits with Branch

for Eg. in Column A i have my invoice no. with 12 digits first four digits it inicates the Branch, so how i can do it in excel.

i want to segregated 1108 -to know the branch with ref from inv#

I read the forum rules and appreciate your concerns, but please read below:

I initially made a simple mistake in thinking that the "New Post" link would be a new thread. When I realised my mistake I tried to delete my post, but royUK jumped ahead of me and posted a warning to me before I could delete it.
I went ahead and posted a new thread which you seem to have moved to another thread, and then deleted for what ever reason.
