  1. To say that my bosses are a little behind the times is a serious understatement. One loves technology, and loves what I can do, but the one who signs the paychecks has learned the barest of minimums. I am currently waiting on her to retire (she is 75) so I can continue to pull this company into the 21st Century, go paperless (we are a health insurance agency) and actually thrive. Til then I am hanging on with my fingernails.

    Hi,
I once had a boss who couldn't read a chart. When I showed my group's progress using a chart - he looked at them and a blank glaze came over his face. I'd seen the same look in some freshman high school students who were direction challenged. He immediately threw my charts in the garbage can and started pumping me for inventing a motto or marketing term to show my groups progress.

Maybe you can help your boss understand and like Pivot Tables and Pivot Charts in another spreadsheet.

    Marv.
