I am trying to create a formula that looks at a cell containing a number. If that number is between, say 14-18 and another cell (that contains a number value) is between say 36-42, then I need a dollar amount (say $100). Is this possible? Thank you.
I have been trying to create a cutlist for my woodshop. I am trying to create a formula wherein if I have an object that is 16" wide overall and I need a component that is 4" less than that width, the formula will calculate that dimension. Also, if I have to build 3 widgets and there are 2 blah blahs per widget, I'd like to be able to enter the quantity and have "6" blah blahs come up. probably basic stuff, but I'm new to Excel and so far can only compose basic formulas. Thank you.
