Sorry it's taken a while to realise your message was there! Regarding Skype, you need just an ordinary account with them. Text messages from your account cost 10p. However, I have moved on from there now. I came across fastmail.fm in which you can sign up for $4.95pa and all you emails can be sent to your mobile phone at 12c each. I use it to send just an email title which I have created in an excel macro. The macro automatically sends the email (from UK) and fastmail (in US) automatically forwards it to my phone (in UK). It takles about 5 seconds round trip! I use it for events notification. Cheers Astrikor
