Windows 7 :Unable to print Excel spreadsheets from my new computer with Win 7 and Office 2010

I am new to this forum and this is my first question.
Just got a new computer with Windows 7 64 bit OS and Office 2010
I did a data transfer from my old computer running Windows XP 32 bit OS and Office 2007
I can view, access my old excel spreadsheets, and change, manipulate and save the data, however the files will not print. I get an error message. When I generate a new Excel spreadsheet, it will print OK.
All of my old MS Office Word files work fine and will print.
Anyone ever had a similar problem?

What is the error message? Is the printer installed and listed when you try to print?
