Date function

Is in excel such function:
when i write number in B column, In column A its preposition elong must write date..?
p.s. sorry for my bad English...

Hi, you didn't indicate your excel version.
With Excel 07

First
Ctrl+h
Find: -
Replace by space

Secondly
Table Design tab, Tools group Convert
