    Mail Merge from drop down

    Hi All,

I hope you're well and enjoying 2017 so far. I have a query and wanted to see if this is possible.

On my main worksheet I have a table with a drop down menu with names in it. When a certain name is chosen the table is populated with information. Within this table there are a group of names which this certain table needs to be emailed to. Is this possible?

If the above answer is yes then is it also possible to get this done automatically for all the other names in the drop down menu, keeping in mind that the names and the details in the table will change and that table will have to be sent to the people listed in that table.

Currently it takes me a long time to do this manually so wanted to see if there was a way to automate this

    Thanks in advance

It sounds do-able, but without a workbook all we can offer is generalizations.

Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.
One spreadsheet to rule them all. One spreadsheet to find them. One spreadsheet to bring them all and at corporate, bind them.

A picture is worth a thousand words, but a sample spreadsheet is more likely to be worked on.

Thanks for your response and I apologise for the delay in replying. I'm not well at the moment. If you can give me some time I'll get an example loaded.

That's OK, I have plenty else to keep me busy in the meantime . I'll "standby on this frequency."

Hey, I do apologise for the delay in getting back to you. As mentioned I've not been well and have just got back in to work since the last time we spoke. Once I catch up I will be doing an example of what I mean sorry again
