Cursor in Address Book

When using Outlook 2007 the cursor ofter flashes in the Search Address Book box and cannot be moved. Have to Close and start again, when the same problem often recurs, but not always.

Re: Cursor in Address Book

hi

I haven't used Outlook 2007 so this is just a guess...

There may be a "hidden" dialogbox that has taken the focus & needs a response to be given. If you hold down the [alt] key & then press [tab] are then any other unidentified/Outlook options that you can [tab] to?
Does it help if you press [esc] a few times?

If you open the Task Manager, is Outlook listed as "not responding"?

Are there any clues in the status/progress bars (I don't know the actual names) at the bottom of the Outlook screen?

hth
