I use Outlook at my work, and when I use the computer at my desk, it takes a considerable amount of time to open a JPEG file. I am confident that it not a issue of too large of a file, it is only a few KB. I can open the same picture a lot quicker if I log onto any other computer.
We have recently doubled the RAM and that has not helped at all. Also, I have tried this in Safe Mode and it still takes just as long. A 200 KB picture can take up to a minuet to load from Outlook, but if I click it from the desktop, it opens right up.
Any Suggestions??

You could try purging the Temp OLK folder, the location is I think along the lines of:
C:\Documents and Settings\[your username]\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\OLK25
(note: number (25) will vary)
but I don't have a copy of 2003 to hand... I think by default the above would be hidden but can't remember and I should add the above is just a "shot in the dark..."
