Smile How to view the macros

First off I'd like to just say thank you for putting together very nice forum where people can share and learn.

I work for a fairly large company in the US and I take care of the entire Northwest.
Sometime ago one of the dispatchers created a super slick program in Excel that runs a bunch of VB Macros that converts or daily scheduling excel sheet into another Excel sheet that's very easy to read for the dispatchers to view and update as the crews come check in for work and leave.

Only problem is, he had never contacted IT about this little endeavor and just created it.
Our dispatch center has been using it for about 6 months and everybody likes it and has gotten used to it.

Now he's found a new career and has left us.

Now everyone is looking to me to support this application when they run into issues with it.

I don't mind doing that at all and actually look forward to the new challenge to learn something.

The problem is, I don't know where to start and how to enter the program to get to where the macros are hidden.

I was able to find it but it asks for a password and I don't know what it would be and of course the person can't be contacted.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks
    Doug

    Welcome to the forum.

You'll need to look elsewhere for how to bypass security measure. We specifically do not address that topic in this forum.

I don't think there is much point opening the VBA code if you know nothing about it. You would pronbably do more harm than good, which is why it is protected
    Hope that helps.
