I'm trying to write a macro to help manage my calendar in outlook.
Whenever i have an instance of a recurring appointment that contains the word '0day' in the subject line, i need it to be automatically deleted from my calendar so only the first reminder occurs and i do not need to intervene to stop the reminder replaying for these specific appointments.
I presume i would simply have nested if statements?
if '0day' in subject
if 'schedule time' < 'present time'
delete this instance of the appointment
I'm more familiar with excel where i have the macro recorder to get me started.
Suggestions?
Hi Cheshire
What if you set the start and end time for your appointment the same. Will it only ring once then?
One test is worth a thousand opinions.

As i use them just for the reminder, i already have them set for only that moment.
Unless i acknowledge each one, the prompted reminders that I have missed the appointment can keep coming up for days.
