Hi Vikas,
Select the cells you wants to merge, now perform any of the below given steps.
ALT+H+M+Enter
OR try
Ctrl+1 A Alt+M Enter
OR
ALT + Enter

Click *Add Reputation to say "Thanks" and don't forget to mark threads as "Solved" (Thread Tools->Mark thread as Solved) if you are satisfied.
Don't stop when you are tired. STOP when you are done!
Alt+Enter works only if, ctrl+1, A was previously done :P
Yeah, I notices just now, ALT + Enter does not work if you did not perform Merging cell previously. It's nothing to do with CTRL + 1. Even If you press CTRL+1 nothing will happen. AS "ALT + ENTER" works similarly as F4 (to Repeat action)
@Ashish - You may refer to other shortcuts given to you and leave ALT + ENTER.
Cheers!!!

Ah! I got it.
I did not use Merge cells at all; however to make similar view I use Indentation.

@anil: I find it difficult to work with Merged cells due to the referencing problem.
