I have a workbook with data from two sources in separate worksheets and a third worksheet containing the merged data. For a particular group of cells (time data) calculations are performed.

In Excel 2010 the contents in the formula bar match the displayed value in the cell (e.g., blank and blank, zero and zero, AM and AM, military and military). In Excel 2013 the two sets of source data follow that pattern. The merged data does not. Cells that were previously blank cells are still blank, however the formula bar displays zero (General Format) or 12:00:00 AM (Time Format, regardless of selecting AM/PM or 24 hour formats).

A set of calculated cells that equal zero display zero in the cell using Excel 2010 (Number Format), and display as blanks in Excel 2013. If the cells are copied and pasted to another worksheet in the workbook in Excel 2013, the cells display zeroes in the new worksheet.

Any tips on getting consistency of display in Excel 2013?
