    Variable

    Hello

Ive been asked this from someone whos studying government data for an essay, and im not sure as I assumed its dependant on the person who added this in to the cell and what they want it to mean.

A cell title covering A1 + B1 is : Current GCSE and equivalent value added.
    in A2 : 1027.2
    in B2 : (+/- 5.4)

    Is the (+/- 5.4) a variable?
So its could be give and take 5.4 against the 1027.2

    Theres no formula behind it

    Thanks

    Re: Variable

I'd read it as that. You need to ask the person, it's the only way you'll find out

    Re: Variable

    It should mean 1027.2 +/- 5.4

    This is a range from
    1021.8 to 1032.6
