Record on/off time for minute by minute data set

    Hello,

I have a data set that includes minute by minute "flow state" data - a value of 0 indicates flow is off, a value of -1 indicates that flow is on. I would like to be able to record the times that the flow is turned on and off (basically when the value changes from 0 to -1, and -1 to 0)

    Thanks!

Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

I did this in two steps.
    1. Enter this in C4 and fill down. The formula will give the times for ON and OFF.

    2. This formula will take every second value in column C starting with the smallest value. Enter this formula in E9 and fill down:

Enter this in F9 and fill down (the same formula as above but with the change of +1 to +2. This takes every second value starting with the second smallest value.
