Speedometer Help!

Hi

I have built some speedometer charts to use within a dashboard, but I cant quite get the "Needle" part of it right.....

All rotation is set at 200, and I have made the Red-Green part run from Minimum value to max so that it makes sense when it comes into £m's.

But I'm having trouble with getting the black line positioned right and think it may be something to do with my pointer area - blank area calculation?

Could someone please help me out on this?

the blank area should be twice the size of the gap between min and max value.
