Grafic problem on XY scatter chart

    Good morning,

I must draw a rectangular shape that overlaps exactly to the Grid Area in a chart.
Probably I have mistaken something because I get an offset of about 4 pixels that don't understand (see the attached file)
Someone can explain me why and how to fix this trouble?

    Best regards

If you embed the shape within the chart object the alignment is better.

The previous chart engine object had a chart.chartarea.left value that was approximately 4. Now the OM value reports the same as the chart object left value.

    Thank you for your reply,

Sorry, to simplify the problem I misspoke and I put you on a wrong direction.
My rectangle is not a standard shape to apply simply on a chart; it is an object similar to the contour of an ActiveX Label control, free to move around the screen with coordinates. Left and. Top referred to the left and top edge of the column A.
On my Worksheet I have several charts and I must be free to move it from one chart to another simply by assigning its coordinates (pixels) on the screen.
For this reason I tried with:

At this point I still don't understand the 4 pixels issue..., it is bug?
As I mentioned the ActiveX Label, I take this opportunity to ask you one more thing: How do I assign the . Caption property to this control?

Gives the run time error “Object doesn't support this property or method (Error 438)”.

Thank you again for your time.

    With best regards

You can call it a bug. You need to factor in the missing pixels to your calculations.
