Pop-up - can it be stopped?

I have started getting this pop-up which Firefox on one computer displays but doesn't display on another computer with the same Firefox settings.

This is what I am getting:
    Popup Capture.JPG

When this appears, it kills my auto-logon.

Does anyone know how to kill it off for good as it doesn't matter what you choose? It just keeps coming back.

I don't see it. Maybe try using AdBock Plus.

Thanks Trevor. I will give that a try when I get back to my other computer.

Tried Adblock Plus but it didn't stop the annoying popup and its adverse affects on logging in.

Re: Pop-up - can it be stopped?

I get it on my desktop computer but not on my laptop. Yesterday, I got an update from both Microsoft and Java and then the popup appeared on the laptop as well. Java appears to have triggered the change. I made use of a system image to get back to the way things were and allowed Microsoft to update the system but did not allow Java to update and that got rid of the popup once again. Strangely, uninstalling Java does not fix the problem on the desktop computer. I think that the installation of Java changes something in Firefox that an uninstall does not correct.

Re: Pop-up - can it be stopped?

IE 11 and Edge do not present the pop-up to me. Only Firefox on the desktop computer does.

Re: Pop-up - can it be stopped?

I got it a while back, then it stopped. I saw it again yesterday (/) but it has again gone.

    Anyone else still seeing it?

Re: Pop-up - can it be stopped?

The only permission I give this website in Firefox is to use cookies (in order to stay logged in automatically); all other options (popups, addons, notification, etc.) are blocked.

    @snb
I am still "stumbling around with Firefox". It works well on my laptop but ExcelForum has this popup that I can't stop. Can you tell me specifically how you have excluded Excelforum from issuing popups, addons, notifications etc?

Alas, excluding popups does not seem to work.
