“GO TO” macro (a CONTROL F macro)

    Hi guys,

Another simple question, it’s basically a CONTROL F macro.

The goal is basically find the item number located in B7 (Tab 1) in the Tab 2, and stay there.

So instead of control C, changing to Tab 2 and control F to find it, macro above would do that.

    Spreadsheet attached as example.

    Thanks,

    Rick

Try the "Click Me!" button in the attached.

    Hi BSB,

    Thanks for your reply.

It's working, but I need to copy and paste into my real spreadsheet and it seems I cannot access your code.

Do you mind to post your macro here?

    Thanks,

    Rick

I've used an Active-X button rather than the Form Control buttons that you have. The code can be found by right clicking the relevant tab and selecting "view code", but for convenience here it is.

    This would do the same:

Re: “GO TO” macro (a CONTROL F macro)

Thanks BSB, but because of my huge ignorance I don't know how to use Active-X.

I tried to run this code as a VBA but it didn't work.

Any chance on advising as a VBA code which can be allocated to a Form Control?

    Thanks and sorry about that.

    Rick

    1) Paste this into a standard module.

    2) Attach the macro "GotoCell" to your form button.
