When two pages are open the gridelines throughout the workbook turn on. How to prevent.

I have a workbook with many tabs. When I am working on the workbook I often open two tabs at the same time through the view feature. When I do that the grid-lines turn on on all the tabs which is not desirable as when I print certain tabs it prints the grid-lines. Is there a way to prevent this behavior?

printing normally does not include the grid lines, I think there is a setting under Print to exclude them?
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you

Yes I agree that guidelines are not printed but in my case, some of my tabs have pictures that are put on printable pages. When that is done and the grid-lines are turned on the pictures get a clear boarder that is not desired.
