Sending A Word File With Hyperlinks Which Are Linked To The Files In A Folder

I'll create a word file and put hyperlinks in it.

Hyperlinks are linked to audio files in a folder.

I want to send the word file and the audio folder to people and want people be able to run those hyperlinks.

Howerver when the place of the audio files changes whilst sending the audio folder hyperlinks won't work.

    Can you suggest a solution?

Hyperlink paths in Word default to an absolotue reference, meaning they'll only point to the files using the original path. To see how to implement relative hyperlink paths, see the field code solution I've posted at: http://windowssecrets.com/forums/sho...External-Files
Note: If your document has the hyperlink paths displayed, those won't change but the links will still work. Ideally, you'd use something other than the path for the hyperlink display text.

Thank you very much for answer. I'm trying to understand what you wrote on the link you gave.

"First off, insert a FILENAME field, with the path switch (see under Insert|Field [Word 2003 7 earlier] or Insert|Quick Parts|Field [Word 2007 & later]), anywhere in your document."

    "Insert|Quick Parts|Field" ???

How to do that I don't understand? I have Office 2010.

Can you give me an exampe with the file named "AUDIO" on the desktop of Windows 8?
