Stop formula in excel

Hi,

I have work sheet with multiple pages, each page has data with total sum.
Summary page has grand total of each sheet (month wise).
Value in each sheet changes every day, I would like to stop the sum in Summary sheet if date in cell A1 = end of month.
For eg:
Sheet 1 has storage value
Receiving Date Storage days
30-07-2016 4
31-07-2015 5

In Summary sheet I have (as on 31-07-2016)
Date (end of month) Storage value
31-07-2016 9

Next month
Sheet 1 has storage value
Receiving Date Storage days
30-07-2016 1
31-07-2015 1
01-08-2016 1

In Summary sheet I have (as on 31-08-2016)
Date (end of month) Storage value
31-07-2016 9
31-08-2016 3

Is it possible to stop the formula in Summary sheet if cell value is end of month?

Hi, welcome to the forum

Yes, this is doable, probably with SUMIFS(), but I suggest that you upload a small (clean) sample workbook (not a pic) of what you are working with, and what your expected outcome would look like.

Sorry for teh delay.

Based on your sample file, what would some sample answers look like? You said to test for "date in cell A1 = end of month", but A1 is empty. Did you mean the end of any month, or the current month or.....?
