Is it possible to have a formula that will pull text from another cell into the formula? I have one column that is a list of last names which are also tabs in my workbook. I want formulas that will take that name and then add a cell to it. For example if the last name is Jenkins I want the formula to be =Jenkins!B1. Then the next name in the column is Jones so it would be =Jones!B1 then =Smith!B1 etc. I could do this manually but it will take forever because there are over 100 names.
I figured once I started typing them in I might get lucky and it would autofill but it doesn't seem to recognize the pattern. Creating three and dragging it down just repeats those same three. I just want it to be the name in the lookup table which is in column H and then !b1 to pull what's in b1 of each worksheet into column I.
Any ideas?
