    G'day,

Personally in the long run excel will be cleaner to work with what your after.

To make it happen in Word, you can try the following.

Click here and following those instructions.

Once you have whose grey bits in the cells

Double click to get the 'Text Form Field Options' menu box. This option will help you control your cell to be text, date or numbers.

Re: How do i select the tab stops in my booking form

This is quite easy to do in Word and allows the data from each form to be exported to a database (or Excel) once the form is completed. In Word, you can use either of two approaches:
    • Formfields; or
    • Content Controls.
Formfields can be used on all Word versions and on both Macs and PCs. Content Controls only work on PC versions of Word from 2007 & later. You should not mix Formfields with Content Controls in the same document. Either can be used to constrain the input (e.g. by specifying a date format for Formfields or by using a Date Content Control, or by using dropdowns to limit a user's choices - or a Combobox Content Control to offer some pre-sets a user may use but isn't constrained to). Which approach best suits your needs depends on your requirements. For some starter instructions, see:
