Excel version 16 in Office 365 too unstable. Can I also purchase/run Excel 2010?

Hi. We are struggling with Excel in Office 365. Power Pivot frequently gives us errors, and other files frequently make Excel stop responding or close unexpectedly. Can we purchase just Excel 2010 Professional Plus from MS or somewhere and run it on the same system? We have almost all Windows 10 PCs. All have 32 bit Excel 365 (v. 16). I also had similar problems with 64 bit Excel. Is anyone else struggling with the stability of Excel 16 compared to 2010?

I have been able to install Excel 2010 from an install DVD. MS told me they don't sell licenses for 2010 anymore.. It is in trial mode I suppose. It is working alongside 2016, I just wonder (once I get licensing solved) if anyone has had to do this and if it's working for them.
