Excel to read RFID scanner COM Port and look up for database

Dear all experts! I would like to seek help on the possible use of Excel to read my RFID Scanner which using COM Port to capture these RFID unique number and automatically lookup in my Excel database and return me the product ID.

As we all know, RFID unique number is not really suitable for human to read and most of the time it doesn't make sense. But it is for tracking purpose of equipment, etc etc as it has an unique number. Yet I don't want to Control + F and type in these RFID number and look up for my Product ID, as human error might occur.

So I would like to use VB to make a text box and will read my RFID scanner and then automatically search for my Product ID corresponding to my RFID unique number.

Hope you all might able to help me on that! Lemme know if there is any information you would like from me!

Just curious but why use a scripting dictionary to a combo box..is it to check for duplicate entries?

And what do you want to do with those numbers shown by the userform? Yasser provided a good example.

Thanks Yasser! Well, I actually want the RFID Unique Number to be captured into the text field in the userform under "RFID Unique Number" upon scanning any transponder with RFID Scanner.

Hence when the "RFID Unique Number" field captured the number from any transponder, it will look up in my database field and translate it to the product ID which associate with the RFID number.

Yasser sample works great! However I could not transfer the information generated from the RFID Scanner to the Excel sheet. Is there any expert or tips for that? I am using COM Port 2 for RFID Scanner.
