How do I get excel to display acres of the Almond field I select from the drop down box

Hi everyone!

I work for a farmer and want to clean up our chemical inventory applications to the various almond fields we own. What I would like to do is select Field 326.5 from the drop box in Cell A1 and then have Cell B2 display the acres for that field. Is this doable and fairly simple to do?

I have 73 fields I would like to select from in Cell A1.

Any ideas?

If you have a list of fields together with their acreage, you could use VLOOKUP to return the correct value from the list.
