To find out deleted value in a cell

Dear Sir

I 1 year before in my excelsheet in a particular cell F45, I changed the date and saved and closed it .
Now I want to find out the previous date which is written in that cell F45,,
,I actually require it very importantly.I Spent a lot and lot of time to find out
but no use.......

Kindly help to guide me

Unless you had change tracking on (which you would know), or have a backup from prior to the change, there is no way.

It's possible but is so "involved" that it may not be worth the trouble.

I guess it's a matter of just how badly you need to gather this info.

No, it won't do that but if you had it already in operation then you'd be able to get the previous value.

I think I misinterpreted what was asked here.

I thought they wanted a way to automatically save the historical value of an ever changing cell.

After reading the OP again it seems they just want a one-time recovery of an accidental deletion.
