I have data sorted in two PowerPivot Tables, as below:
http://imgur.com/Mb6XKow This is the first table.
http://imgur.com/3qZQvkl This is the second.
Both tables have the same column headers. One is real data, the other is data predicted from a model. The "Spread Type" indicator shows which category it falls into. They don't have an identical number of entries, since some of the Model table entries don't have a corresponding Real table entry. I want to merge the two PowerPivot tables into a single PowerPivot table, which would something like this:

So I would keep all the rows from each table (don't want to omit any data) but all the entries from both would be combined under a single set of headers. How should I do this? I am trying to use MERGE or APPEND but neither give me the result I'm looking for. When I use APPEND, I just see values from the first table and none from the second.
