excel personal expenses calcuator template

Hi, I have no experience of EXCEL as I am a long time from leaving school! I downloaded the free personal expenses calculator template today as it was advertised as being the easiest to use. I have been able to edit the categories and sub-categories effectively and subsequently enter my expenses. After saving my work I then clicked on the dashboard expecting to see graphic representation of my outgoings for the past month. Instead I saw the original sample graph from the download. The information pre download says the data entered is automatically bucketed to the dashboard but this does not seem to be happening. Any thoughts? All help is greatly appreciated.

There is no way to answer this without seeing your file, or at least seeing the template you are using. Please attach your file or the template. Under the text box where you type your reply click the Go Advanced button. On the next screen scroll down and click on Manage Attachments, which will show a pop-up window to Select and Upload a file. Then close the window.
