    Unable to Identify Formula Issue

    Hi All

The attached spreadsheet has been used before it was due to be and I think inadvertently a formula has been altered maybe. How it should work is information entered into the ALL section will then filter through to the relevant month sections based on the date entered in column AC. It was working but now I can't seem to get anything to go through other then row 3. I'm pretty sure it's something really silly but I cannot see it.

    Can anyone assist me?

Sorry, but your question does not explain well at all what your problem is.

What are you expecting to see in what cells on what sheets? What do you see instead? What steps can we take to reproduce your problem so we can see what happens?

Apologies. The problem is occurring in the attachment spreadsheet. Each month tab should be formulated to pull a row of data from 'ALL' based upon the date entered in AC. 'Jan' seems to be working as Joe Bloggs (Row 3) has pulled through based on a January date being entered into AC, however row 4 & 5 with dates in AC of Feb & March respectively are not, nothing is appearing. Hope this makes sense?

Re: Unable to Identify Formula Issue

    Hi,

Problem is that in order for excel to see and return the results you are looking for, the formulas have to be entered as an array.
To enter a formula as an array you have to use CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER.
This will bracket your formula with { }. These cannot be entered manually.
For example: go to FEB sheet, cell C3, and click the formula bar. Use the combination CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER. You will see the { } appear at either end of the formula and the cell C3 will have your data.

Be warned that array formulas can slow your file down. You file is already a little slow. With 200 rows* 37 columns, across 12 sheets, your file is going to be extremely slow.

If you intention is to just display the data per month, just filter it it place on the ALL sheet. Would be way faster.

Hope this makes sense and is helpful.

    Cheers
