Feeding Data from Master Worksheet To Another Worksheet

Hi all!

I've been researching this for days and cannot seem to find the proper way of doing what I need! I feel like it's pretty simple.....

I have a master sheet where data is entered as such:

(A2:A5) (B2:B5) (C2:C5) (D2:D5)

Date	Log #	Building	Rep
12/31/16	123456	5	Jane Doe
1/4/17	789012	10	Jane Doe
1/9/17	345678	15	Jane Doe
1/16/17	901234	20	Jane Doe

Then I have a worksheet for each log # and need the data from those line items to feed to specific cells on those worksheets. Ex. Log # 123456 is a worksheet and cell H1 is the date, H3 is the log #, H5 is the Building # and H9 is the Rep. How can I get the info that I enter on the master sheet to automatically feed to the other worksheets cells? Can it be a formula or does it need to be a macro?

How many worksheets i.e how many log numbers?

Is a single entry per worksheet?

Attach a sample workbook

Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate.

Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.

Can it be a formula or does it need to be a macro?

It depends on exactly what you want to do.

Do you want to COPY the data to the other sheets or do you want to MOVE the data to the other sheets?

COPY = formulas
MOVE = macro

Thank you for the quick response! There could be several log numbers, each with their own sheet. I ultimately would love to have a new worksheet opened every time a log # is entered on the master sheet but that might be far reaching. If that's not possible, I would like as each line item is entered on the master sheet, that it auto populates that info onto the next "template" in line. There won't be any formulas in this data so copying would suffice.
