importing info intoan excel template from excel spreadsheet

I'm embarrassed to be asking such a simple question but I have failed to accomplish this simple task and am getting frustrated with how much time I have already spent! I would like to import data from an excel spreadsheet into an excel form. I've tried connecting the spreadsheet into the form but the entire table imported into the address field. What am I doing wrong?
