Hellow everybody!
As always, I seek help from you Excel geeks.
I have a worksheet having over thousand rows for different users - having multiple records for each UserName.
I need to find count of rows for each user. Please help.
Regards.

Rabi,
If you filter the records, you can then use either the COUNT or COUNTA or function (depending on the type of data).
These (and the other 9 SUBTOTAL functions) are expalined here.

Thank you so much, Trebor76, for your prompt response.
I forgot to mention that I need a programmatic solution because the result has to be used for updating some other sheets. Also, the solution has to be provided to other office colleagues who are not well-versed with Excel.
Hope to receive help.
Hi there,
See if the CountUniqueValues udf here (or a slight modification of it) meets your needs.
