Run time Error 91 when opening Excel

When I open Excel 2002 or 2007 I keep getting "Run-Time Error '91': Object variable or With Block variable not set", with a title of "RecordAtMark", with an "OK" button (no "Debug" button).

There are no files in XLStart folder.

I think that I accidentally removed a startup project or removed a reference recently.

I have atpvbaen.xls (ATPVBAEN.XLA) and funcres (FUNCRES.XLA) open on startup. I think there used to be 3 but I don't remember what the 3rd was (if any).

I have references to "Visual Basic for Application", "Microsoft Excel 10.0 Object Library", "OLE Automation", and "Microsoft Office 10.0 Object Library" checked.
atpvbaen.xls and funcres are not checked.

    Hi romperstomper;

It's possible that I had it installed at one time, but I never used it so I'm not sure.

It's not on my list of available Add-Ins. If it was installed and being loaded wouldn't I see it in the list and also show up in the Project Explorer in VBE?

No because it's a COM addin, not an xla.

So how can I determine if it's loaded?

If it's only installed for you, it will appear in the COM addins dialog in 2002, or the COM addins section in 2007. If it's installed for all users you need to check the registry.

Where do I find the Coms addins dialogue?

You'll need to customise the toolbars and add the button to one of them (it's located on the Commands tab in the Customize dialog, select Tools in the left hand list and it's about halfway down the right hand list.)

I found it through help (should have done that 1st).

It is loaded. Do you know of any way to debug it.

Or is my only choice to unload it?

You can't debug it as it's a dll, so it's compiled code. I'd uninstall it, make sure that fixes your problem, then try reinstalling it if you actually want it.

That's what I figured. I did unload it and my problem went away.

    Thanks
