    Assigning a number a grade

Thanks for any help people can give; I'm a total newbie when it comes to excel:

I'm trying to convert numbers into grades (letters).

    So in the attached spreadsheet:
    - Turning column F, which is numbers, into a Letter/Grade in column G

    So for example
    0-5 would be a U
    6-10 would be a F
    11-15 would be an E
    and so on.

    Perhaps

    =LOOKUP(F2, {0,6,11,16,21,26,31}, {"U","F","E","D","C","B","A"})
Entia non sunt multiplicanda sine necessitate
